Wormwood, Artemesia absinthe, Essential oil is a top note in perfumery and aromatherapy. It brings definition and attention to a blend. Its strong aroma lends to light dosing. A drop in a blend of herbaceous essential oils, mints, lavender absolute, citrus, patchouli, cedar wood, black spruce and spices is usually a correct dose. It blends well with several drops of tuberose absolute, producing an exotic, floral green and nearly euphoric aroma. Avoid prolonged use. Wormwood is a nerve toxin when ingested and should be used cautiously in aromas. Do not use wormwood in a bath; avoid usage with children, nursing and pregnant mothers.
