Myrrh, (Commiphora Myrrha), oil is used topically to help athlete's foot, toe fungal infection, ringworm, cough, wounds, cracked skin, eczema and wrinkles. Hemorrhoids, gum problems and mouth ulcers are helped with a dilution of the essential oil. Ancient cultures used Myrrh to help deep subconscious emotional wounds that cause people to act out irrationally.The essential oil is steam distilled from the resin exuded from the trunk of the small tree. Over time Myrrh essential oil thickens and the bottle must be placed in hot water a few minutes to make it liquid again.
Dilute 2 drops in 1 cup of water, or 2 tablespoons of carrier oil. Best to avoid during pregnancy.
