Benzoin Styrax (Tonkinese) is a soft, sweet calming vanilla-like scent that blends well with other essential oils as a low note. It extends the vanilla scent without overwhelming a blend. The aroma is used in sensual and floral blends. Benzoin combines well with any essential oil. Add it to Oriental and many other aromas such as, Patchouli, Tarragon, Vetiver and Labdanum. It blends with florals and herbals in small quantities as a base, or low note in aromatherapy. Always add it first in a blend to hold a lasting aroma blend.
