Spike Lavender essential oil aroma is stronger smelling and less floral. Lavare means to wash in Latin. Historically, this lavender was used in various cleansing activities and topically to soothe minor burns.
The aroma is more poignant, camphoraceous and less flowery. It has warming feelings in a blend. The relaxing feeling of this aroma makes it popular. It can be worn neat, undiluted, as a natural fragrance.
It is complementary with other lavenders, rose, citrus, Clary and common sage, Oakmoss and lightly fragrant absolutes as a middle heart note.
