Blue Chamomile Absolute (Matricardi recutita) has a sweet hay -like aroma, very delicate. It has a fruity and herbaceous undertone. It must be diluted. This absolute is a thick liquid added in very small quantities in a blend as a top note. Roman Chamomile is preferred in aromatherapy.
Historically, blue chamomile has been used in skincare for a purifying, softening effect.
Blue chamomile is not recommended for pregnant or nursing mothers or children.
