How to make a unique aroma blend

Our old roses are in full bloom! In aromatherapy, roses carry the heart or middle note, which carries the greatest potential of a blend. The low and high notes chosen for the blend releases and entirely unique fragrance, lifting in harmonious layers of scent. It can be worn for fragrance alone or in a blend.

Fill a 1-ounce glass amber bottle with a tight-fitting ca   Choose a carrier oil, such as sweet almond, marula or red raspberry oil. For rose blends, consider using a mild low note to extend the blend. Frankincense is often used in skincare. Mysore Sandalwood is an excellent choice. Ylang can be used as a low or high note.

Always add the low note first in every blend. A general amount is 6 drops in a 1-ounce bottle. a blend of 2 or 3 low notes many be used. Keep the amount to 6 drops.

Next add 15 drops of rose or a combination of heart notes. Rose blends well with Jasmine, Gardenia and Rose Geranium. a spicier blend will have 2 drops of Cinnamon and /or Cardamom. Black Spruce adds a light woody aroma.

Lavender also blends well with rose. Provence lavender is the best choice. Add 3-4 drops, 1 drop at a time to support but not overwhelm the rose. A combination of heart notes will reduce the amount of rose oil to use.

The last essential oils added are high note, creating an alluring effect for the blend. High notes are the first scent noticed in a blend. Add 9 drops total. Citrus and black pepper blend well with rose. Neroli is the most fragrant, lifting some people from sad feelings. Bergamot is less expensive. Use the Bergapten free bergamot to avoid sun sensitivity for the skin. Ylang extra is a great choice, if not used as a low note.

Store the tightly capped blend in a cool dark place for 10 days, up to 30 days for the blend to completely become unique.

It should be your first choice for a romantic invitation. Be sure to wear a few drops on the neck and wrist.

Do Antioxidants Cause Cancer to Grow?

Recent research claims antioxidants cause cancer to grow. First, understand that cancer creates a blood supply to be able to survive and grow. Naturally, cancer cells are fed by any nutrients received by the body. Melanoma, especially utilizes anti oxidants. It is a fast growing cancer that quickly metabolizes nutrition to metastasize.  However, in over 30 years of working daily with cancer patients nutritionally, I have seen a great increase in patient/client recovery using  specific antioxidants. These are not vitamins and minerals. They are special nutrients, such as aromatic tumerones that protect and nurture non cancerous cells. Aromatic Tumerones have been extensively researched and proven to help prevent certain cancers and nurture noncancerous cells. There are many varieties of cancer, each with it's own requirements. Aromatic tumerones have the most wide spread effect in fighting cancer, as well as many other conditions of aging.
