https://youtu.be/GjbLpEfbpHQ Bergamot essential oil comes from a hybrid tree of bitter orange and lemon. It is a very popular fragrance used in many colognes. In natural perfumes, Bergamot is a preferred top note used to define the blend and lure the recipient to wear it. Top notes will be smelled first. Bergamot blends well with all citruses, floral and herbals and spices. I use it to lift heavy woody aromas, such as Cabreuva and Cedar. When purchasing, look for Bergapten- free to avoid any possibility of skin irritation. Keep all essential oils refrigerated.
