Blood Orange produces essential oil from pressed rinds, known as cold pressed. It has a rich, flavor with a scent of raspberry, or strawberry. It is a top note in perfumery, adding definition to the blend. Citrus blends well with most aromatics. Blood orange is useful in hair products to deeply nourish hair follicles and moisturizes the hair shaft. A few drops can be added to homemade hair preparations.
