Wormwood,. Artemesia absinthe, Essential oil  is a top note in perfumery and aromatherapy. It brings definition and attention to a blend. Its strong aroma lends to light dosing. A drop in an ounce blend of herbaceous essential oils, mints, lavender absolute, citrus, patchouli, cedarwood, black spruce and spices is usually a correct dose. It blends well with several drops of tuberose absolute, producing an exotic, floral green and nearly narcotic aroma. Wormwood has been used in aromatherapy to reduce epilepsy, convulsions and hysteria by inhaling small amounts. Avoid prolonged use. Wormwood is a nerve toxin when ingested and should be used cautiously in aromas. Do not use wormwood in a bath; avoid usage with children, nursing and pregnant mothers. It is safe to use in small amounts in a natural perfume.
Historically, Wormwood has been used to purge parasites from the body. Â I make a parasite blend and Healthy Heart pet blend for parasites without any toxic essential oils or products.
