Enfleurages are the results of ancient method of saturating water, alcohol, or other medium to extract fragrance and oil from flowers, such as jasmine and gardenia, which yield poor results from steam distillation. Enfleurages can be made from the most refined fragrances of antique roses, iris, white ginger, and lilac. They are applied like a perfume. Heat from the body releases the subtle fragrance and opens the highest creative centers to experience inner harmony.
